Earlier this month, we told you about the Hilton Honors American Express Card. With both cards, you have the potential of also attaining Hilton Gold status. We looked at the benefits of Hilton Gold status here in this post. Now let’s take a look at Hilton Diamond status.

With the Hilton Honors American Express Card you get complimentary Hilton Silver status for as long as you are a cardmember which will give you the ability to get the 5th night free on Hilton award stays. If you spend $20,000 in a calendar year, on the Hilton Honors American Express Card you’ll get Hilton Gold status through the end of the next calendar year.

 

Benefits of Hilton Diamond Status

Normally, to achieve or retain Honors Diamond status, you need to earn either:
(1) 30 stays in a calendar year, or
(2) 60 nights in a calendar year, or
(3) 120,000 Honors Base Points in a calendar year

  1. You mention that 5th night free is for Silver, Gold and Diamond elite members. There is no Silver level. Hyatt has Gold, Platinum and Diamond.
