We told you last year about another new Centurion Lounge to be opened in Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (Terminal D.) They plan to have Houston’s Centurion Lounge ready in the first half of 2016. Houston will be American Express’ 7th Centurion Lounge location in the US and is great news for cardholders of The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express , who can access all the Centurion Lounges for free!

Per MommyPoints, the lounge is set to open today! So, if you are traveling through Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport today, stop by Terminal D. This is exciting for people who travel through Houston regularly!

Bottom Line

One of my favorite perks of my Platinum Card from American Express is how it provides airport lounge access to the Amex Centurion Lounges, which Amex has been rapidly expanding. I love Amex Centurion Lounges; they are amazing! Houston is lucky to be getting this nice addition! I’m still pulling for them to open a Centurion Lounge in Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson!
Remember, you can have complementary access to US Centurion Lounges with the Centurion card and the  following cards from American Express:
