United is out with an offer for a bonus of up to 100% more miles when you purchase miles for a limited time now through August 15, 2016. You need to purchase at least 30,000 United miles to get the 100% bonus and the offer is tiered below that.
With this new offer if you wanted to buy 75,000 United MileagePlus miles, you’d receive the 75,000 bonus miles, for a total of 150,000 miles for $2,821.88 which comes out to about 1.88 cents per mile, which isn’t that bad of a deal if you know how to leverage your United MileagePlus miles.
Offer Details: Buy miles today for yourself or as a gift, and receive a bonus of up to 100% more miles. But that’s not all: With your purchase on miles, you’ll automatically be entered into our limited-time sweepstakes contest where we’re giving away a total of 500,000 MileagePlus award miles.
