Delta Air Lines has a new customer care system in place when it comes to compensation, as experienced on a recent Delta flight. Previously, if you had a customer service issue or a delayed flight on Delta, and you contacted their Corporate Customer Care team, you’d be offered either bonus SkyMiles or sometimes a Delta Voucher.
However, with their new system you’re now offered SkyMiles, or a Choice Gift Card, which you can choose from several merchants including Delta, Nordstrom, Amazon, Macy’s, Best Buy, Zappos, American Express and more.
It’s quite easy to use. Just head to their Choice Gift Card site, which is provided as an unique link in the email. You can then logon and select your gift from several merchants.

Have you experienced Delta’s new generous compensation offerings lately for either a delayed or oversold flight? We’d love to hear your thoughts below!
I received an offer of Delta compensation after a flight was cancelled due to a mechanical issue. The offer was not generous or in line with my out of pocket losses resulting from the cancellation. Delta (and every other airline) treats their screw ups like your time is free.
Heaven help you if you need to take an earlier or later flight. Then, your time has a very distinct and expensive cost associated with it.
Excellent Work in article it’s a very helpful for me thanks to share this info.
