The KAL Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport is located in the Tom Bradley Terminal and is for Korean Air premium passengers, however it’s a Priority Pass lounge, meaning cardholders of the The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express OPEN receive complimentary access.

KAL Lounge LAX

For Priority Pass cardholders, you can access the lounge daily between 12pm-8pm. This lounge is located airside in the TBIT Terminal on the 5th floor with the other airline lounges. If you’re flying from Terminal 4, 5, 6, or 7, you’ll be able to access this lounge through underground tunnels without having to exit security.

How To Get Access:

You can gain access to Priority Pass Select, which will get you lounge access here for free by being a cardholder of The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express OPEN

Overall when it comes to Priority Pass lounges, this one ranks up there as one of my favorites, and probably the best option if traveling through LAX.

  1. @Me although I share your sentiment about the recent changes with the AMEX card, the good blogger mentioned that Priority Pass Select (PPS) card holders have access to this lounge. We all know one of the CSR card benefits is comped PPS card.

The problem with the 12-8 PM access for the PPS card holders that if your flight is around midnight, you are better off going somewhere else.

  2. Priority Pass notes that KAL lounge at LAX has limit of 2 guest per cardholder…. Does this apply to CSR cardholder as well? I have an upcoming trip with party of three and I am a priority pass member thru my CSR, does this mean I could only bring one guest with me to KAL lounge?
