What Hotels Do Flight Attendants Stay At?

Ever wonder where flight attendants stay on their layovers? A lot of factors go into this decision, when the airline choose the hotels including price, and if the hotel provides transportation to/from the airport, of if they have to arrange their own.

Generally speaking, most airlines will have multiple hotels in a city that they can put their crews up. Some break it down on arrival time, so all crews arriving in the morning stay at X hotel, and those arriving in the evening at Z hotel. Often, it’s split up by how long the overnight is. If it’s a shorter overnight, they’re more likely to stay closer to the airport, and if it’s a longer one, then you’ll probably find the crew at a downtown location.

Below are some examples of where flight attendants stay in different cities:

In Las Vegas, American Airlines stays at the SLS Las Vegas.

In New York City, Delta stays at the Roosevelt Hotel.

In Boston, Southwest Airlines stays at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront.

In Los Angeles, Delta stays at the Westin Bonaventure.

In San Juan, JetBlue Airways stays at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino.

As you can see, flight attendants can stay at some nice hotels on their layovers. When it comes to earning hotel points, and stay credit, it can be hit or miss. Most of the time, their discounted rates aren’t eligible but at some hotels the points will post, and elite members will even receive lounge access.

  3. A few weeks ago my sister and I flew Southwest up to Portland (Maine) to view the fall foliage. We got off the plane, picked up our rental car and drove to the Holiday Inn Portland-By the Bay. As we were getting out of our car to check in, up pulls the hotel courtesy shuttle with our flight crew. We were like – hi again!

  5. This is extremely unsafe for anyone to be posting where flight attendants stay. Mind your own business and do independent research on nice hotels. There is a high amount of assaults on flight attendants in their hotels due to the ease of access of this information. Do your family and friends a favor and shut up.

  6. I am the sales manager for a hotel near the airport with a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Does anyone know how to get in touch with the travel departments of major airlines? I’d like to offer our venue as an option.
