Free breakfast for Hotel Elites is one of my favorite perks. Many times over, I have enjoyed delicious breakfasts all complimentary at Hyatt, Marriott, Starwood and more. In the past I have also utilized my Hilton status for some pretty fancy breakfasts during week long stays which really adds up! But, one spot where there was a gap was at Hilton’s top tier Waldorf Astoria properties. Well, not any more!

Great News For Waldorf Astoria Elites

Via View from The Wing, Hilton announced that,

Starting January 1, all Waldorf Astoria properties will offer complimentary continental breakfast or an equivalent Food & Beverage credit for all Gold and Diamond members (and one guest) as part of a MyWay benefit option. This was in direct response to our members’ feedback, so we’re excited to offer this benefit at all our luxury properties.

Great News For Waldorf Astoria Guests

This is great news for Hilton elites who enjoy the comforts of a nice Waldorf Astoria.

If you’re looking to get complimentary Hilton Gold status, both the Hilton Honors™ Surpass® Card from American Express and The Platinum Card® from American Express offer the status just for having either card, making this the easiest way to receive Hilton HHonors Gold Status.

Bottom Line

Complimentary breakfast is a fantastic benefit that can really save you some money while on vacation. This is great news for Hilton Waldorf Astoria frequents. Now I’d like to see the Ritz Carlton follow in Hilton’s footsteps and offer complimentary breakfast for elites.
