TSA Warns This Day Might Be The Busiest Ever!
USA Today reports,
WASHINGTON – The number of airline passengers this Friday before the July Fourth holiday will approach a record, the head of the Transportation Security Administration said Wednesday.
Airlines forecast a record number of travelers this summer, with 246 million people flying from June 1 to Aug. 31.
“We expect that this coming Friday will potentially be one of busiest days ever in TSA history, in terms of passenger throughput busiest ever,” Pekoske told reporters on a conference call. “We’re doing that while we’re also enhancing security.”
