Last October, there was a terrible Las Vegas Shooting that left hundreds injured and killed 58 people.  Now in a startling turn of events, the hotel (Mandalay Bay- MGM) where the shooter stayed is suing more then 1,000 victims of the shooting to avoid liability claims against themselves. This is sure to be an unpopular decision.
MGM Resorts Sue 1,000+ Victims Of 2017 Las Vegas Shooting
MGM Resorts International is suing more than 1,000 victims of the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting in a bid to avoid any liability claims from the massacre, according to reports.
The owners of the Mandalay Bay hotel, where gunman Stephen Paddock positioned himself to repeatedly fire at the crowd attending the Route 91 Harvest country music festival last October, said they could not be held responsible for the deaths and injuries resulting from the shooting, and all claims against them “must be dismissed,†reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
According to the complaints filed in Nevada and California, the company, which also owns the Route 91 Harvest festival location, took reasonable steps to ensure such an atrocity did not occur and that it has “no liability of any kind to defendants.â€
Bottom Line
This certainly seems like a bad move by MGM Resorts. It is definitely in bad taste to sue the victims of these horrendous shooting no matter what the reason. What do you think?

They’re not suing for damages. They’re just trying to get a declaratory judgment. It’s not unreasonable.
1,000+ victims should counter sue MGM for access to all calls, video, audio, internal security records and all data from that week. Biggest coverup in the history of this Nation. Sad!
Indeed, this is the largest coverup that the United States has experienced. Ever!
