This Week’s Question:
If given the choice between, Would You Rather have a Comfort Plus middle seat, or a Main Cabin aisle seat?
When flying we’d all prefer to be in First Class, however when upgrades don’t clear that isn’t always the case. With that, would you rather have an aisle seat in the Main Cabin, or a middle seat in Comfort Plus? Sometimes upgrades happen to Comfort Plus at the gate, but only middle seats are available.

Except on a red eye flight, Comfort+ middle; I’m tall and love the legroom, love snacks and free drinks and priority boarding. Not first class, but a nice perk when offered.
Neither. First class only here.
There is no answer till all details are provided. It depends on the economy layout. If the plane has 10 across but was designed as 9 across, I would opt for plus. If it has a seat width of around 18 inches then the aisle gets my vote.
Hands down, coach aisle. As a Delta Silver Medallion, DL frequently “upgrades” me to a Comfort+ middle seat (us Silvers only dream about First upgrades). On short hop like ATL-RDU, I don’t care. But that just happened on a LAX-BOS flight. No way! I have to call to get “downgraded” and sometimes that is a challenge as they frequently will fill the seat that I got upgraded from.
As a Delta Silver Medallion, about the only true benefit I see from my status is the ability to book the exit row seats in advance (for free). And *NO WAY* I will trade an exit row aisle, middle or window seat for Comfort Plus. But even before I attained Silver Medallion, I was nearly always able to book the exit row seat 45 days out (for a fee). Quick answer to your actual question: I’d stay in coach and keep my aisle seat. I do not request Comfort Plus upgrades.
Comfort Plus.
