Yesterday, Hyatt announced, a Hyatt & Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) Loyalty Alliance which is pretty exciting. The only downfall to the plan (that I’ve heard thus far) is that your Hyatt status will not be recognized at Small Luxury Hotels which is a little bit of a bummer if you are used to free upgrades and breakfast. But, here might be a good answer for now. Amex cardholders are invited to join and receive Inspired status (2nd tier out of 3.) See more info below.

Bottom Line
If you are a fan of Hyatt and want to use your points to stay with (SLH) in the future with this new loyalty alliance, you might as well start working on your status with Small Luxury Hotels now! It does say that you need to book directly through the Amex site to get the benefits and Hyatt wants you to book through their site to earn and redeem points, so it will be interesting to see if this is honored but, it certainly can’t hurt.
where do they offer that? i dont see it anywhere. seems to be targeted
It’s not targeted. And they don’t even ask for any Amex account verification when signing up.
can you provide a link to the offer?
