Priority Pass announced starting October 1, 2018, they’ll be raising the fees to their lounges from $27 to $32, which represents a $5 increase per visit. Those will Priority Pass memberships that offer complimentary guest access won’t be affected, however if you’re one who pays to bring in guests you will notice an increase.
Many credit cards offer a complimentary Priority Pass membership with guest privileges including both The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express, so cardholders won’t be affected.
Priority Pass sent the following email to its members:
On the 1st October 2018 we will be increasing the fee for chargeable lounge visits to US$32 per visit per person. Any complimentary visits included as a part of your membership will not be affected by this fee increase.
It has been over 10 years since we have increased our visit fees and during this time we have done all we can to absorb the rising costs of providing airport lounge access to our Members. We have unfortunately reached the point where we need to make an adjustment to our prices to maintain the quality offering of Priority Pass.

We are proud that our Members can now access over 1200 lounges worldwide, as well as the recently introduced dining, spa and relaxation experiences which are supported by a 24×7 multilingual Membership Services team. The membership plan i have includes complimentary visits will this price increase mean i have fewer visits included in my membership?
No, the number of complimentary visits included within your membership will not change. However, any visits taken over the complimentary allowance will be charged at the new visit fee from the 1st October 2018.
