American Airlines operates two lounge products, Admirals Clubs and Flagship Lounges. The Flagship Lounges are branded as a premium offering and only located in a select hub cities.
There are numerous ways to access an Admiral Club when flying on American Airlines or oneworld Partner. Across the system, there are you can find these clubs at over 35 airports around the world.
Flying Select Transcon or International in Business or First Class:Â Nonstop flights operated between New York (JFK) and San Francisco (SFO) or Los Angeles have complimentary access. Additionally, passengers on connecting American Airlines flights to the transcon have access. Customers traveling in First or Business class on American Airlines or oneworld international flights (excluding the Caribbean and Canada) can visit Admiral Clubs.
Select AAdvantage Elite Members and oneworld Emerald and Sapphire:Â When flying on qualifying international flights operated by American or a oneworld, AAdvantage Executive Platinum, Platinum Pro and Platinum receive complimentary access to Admiral Clubs (excluding Caribbean and Canada). Additionally, non-American Airlines elite oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members have access to Admirals Clubs when flying on a US or international itinerary.
Hold Admirals Club Annual Membership:Â American Airlines sells two types of annual membership. Individual membership ranges in price from $650 (as of Feb 1, 2019) and can be lower depending on AAdvantage status and renewal. Household membership which includes access for immediate family or up to two guests starts at $1,250 with discounts based on American Airlines elite status and renewal. Both options also have the ability to use AAdvantage award miles to purchase an Admirals Club membership.
Purchase a Day Pass:Â You can purchase a One-Day Pass to select Admirals Clubs for $59 per person. With this pass, you may enter Admirals Clubs on your day of travel. (Airports under construction are excluded from selling day passes)Â
Hold a Citibank AAdvantage Executive Card: Cardholders of Citi’s premium AAdvantage Executive Card receive complimentary access for themselves and immediate family or two guests.
Military:Â American Airlines is proud to support military personnel and provides complimentary access to soldiers traveling in uniform. A military ID is required and immediate family or up to 2 guests are also allowed.
