BLADE recently announced they’ll be offering continuous helicopter flights between BLADE Lounge West and John F. Kennedy Int’l. Airport (“JFKâ€) every weekday between 7am to 7pm in both directions.
Looking at the schedule it seems that they have between 1-2 flights each hour throughout the day. They’ve now expanded their continuous service from Manhattan to both LaGuardia and Newark.
These rides are normally $195, however if you’re a new member to BLADE, you can sign up and create an account. There are many promo codes that will give you $100 off your first ride ($50 off for BLADE continuous to JFK, LGA, EWR). Additionally, right now using the promo code AIRSOCIAL, you can save $75 off a ride, bringing down the cost to $70, as these promotions are combinable (at least for now!)
Bottom Line
At $70, this is an incredible deal to take a helicopter a helicopter to/from Manhattan from either New York’s John F. Kennedy or LaGuardia; or Newark Liberty International Airport.
As mentioned, they have 1-2 helicopters per hour to these airports, and you can easily book and search in their app to find an available ride. With Ubers nearly as much as this, you may want to consider booking BLADE, for your next airport trip.
As One Mile at a Time posted, one of these BLADE helicopters did crash into the Hudson River earlier this month, so it’s unclear if they’ve seen a decrease in riders since this incident, which could be the reason for this new promo code.
