If you’re looking to redeem World of Hyatt points, first head over to their site where you can either login or create a new account if you don’t have one.

If you’re in need of more World of Hyatt points, Hyatt is a 1:1 transfer partner of Chase Ultimate Rewards. You can see how easy Transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards to Hotel Partners is, and the points will be posted into your account instantly.

World of Hyatt has 8 hotel categories, which range in price from 5,000 points- 40,000 points per night for standard rooms. Additionally, you have the option to redeem for club rooms and standard and premium suites depending on the property. Additionally, Points + Cash is an option, which requires 50% of the points required for a free night and 50% of the standard rate.

Looking at an example, we searched for Costa Rica, and the Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo showed up.

As this is a World of Hyatt category 5 property, if you wanted to redeem points, it would be at a rate of 20,000 World of Hyatt points per night for either 1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds.

Alternatively, you choose the Points + Cash tab, and see that you could redeem for 10,000 points plus $180 per night if you were to go this route.

Bottom Line:

When redeeming World of Hyatt points for free night awards, always be sure to check the paid rate vs. the points option to make sure you’re getting a good deal. The same is true when looking at the Points + Cash option.

There’s some tremendous value to be had with redeeming World of Hyatt points at high end properties such as the Park Hyatt MaldivesPark Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, and the Andaz Maui at Wailea.
