Hotel Review: The Madison Washington DC, a Hilton Hotel

The Madison Downtown Washington DC, a Hilton Hotel is located on 15th St. NW near Logan Circle and features 356 guest rooms and suites. From Washington DCA, it took about 15 minutes in my Uber to get to the hotel as there wasn’t much traffic.

As a Hilton Honors Gold member, thanks to my status from my American Express Platinum Card, I was upgraded from a standard Deluxe Room to an Executive Room, which meant I’d receive access to the executive club lounge. The executive lounge is located on the lobby level and is accessible via key card access.

If you’re looking for a nice hotel to stay at in Washington DC, and if you have Hilton Gold or Diamond status, then you may want to consider The Madison, which is in a decent location and walkable to most of the city sights.

The executive lounge in the lobby level offers an enhanced continental breakfast each morning with a few hot items. We missed the evening offerings both nights, so I can’t comment on those.

The hotel only has three elevators, and one of them must of been out during my visit, as there was always a wait to get an elevator, however hopefully this was just a temporary issue.

All the staff at the hotel including the front desk agents, the bartender and the executive lounge attendants were very friendly and accommodating to any request during my stay.
