Do Hilton Golds receive executive lounge access? This is a question that many members have been asking and the simple answer is it depends on the upgrade that you receive at check-in.

Hilton Golds receive space-available upgrades to preferred rooms at time of check-in, which can include executive level rooms which would then come with lounge access. However if you aren’t upgraded to an executive level room, then you aren’t necessarily given lounge access, which is common at their bigger properties.

One other way you could receive an upgrade is if you choose the continental breakfast option instead of the 1,000 points. Some hotels will then extend executive lounge access in this scenario, so that you can opt to have breakfast in the lounge.

If you’re looking to get complimentary Hilton Gold status The Platinum Card® from American Express offer the status just for having either card, making this the easiest way to receive this status.

  1. Didn’t AMEX take away the Hilton breakast restaurant option from Hilton Gold Status that comes with the Platinum Card or was just the airport restaurant option with the Priority Pass that comes with the Platinum Card?.The RATs at AMEX have been gnawing away at card benefits so much of late it is hard to keep track of where their dirty little black dropping are being found.

  2. Is this really a question asked by many members? Wow, so there are lots of members not capable of reading it seems.
So these people not only ask about lounge access but also about if they get upgrades, if they get bonus points, if they have any benefits at Embassy Suites and other hotel brands, etc.
