One of Hyatt’s newest properties, Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest will be increasing hotel categories effective July 30, 2019. The property will be jumping from a Category 2 to a Category 5, meaning free nights will be now cost 20,000 World of Hyatt points per night.
If you’re looking to lock in the current prices, you must book before the end of the month.
Effective as of July 30, 2019, at 10:00 am CT, Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is shifting into a higher award category. Free night award redemptions booked after the change at this hotel will require additional World of Hyatt points.
All free night award and Points + Cash redemptions booked before 10:00 am CT on July 30 will follow the current Award Chart, and those reservations will remain in place at the original point level. Any free night award and Points + Cash redemptions booked at 10:00 am CT on July 30 or after will follow the new Award Chart.
All Category 1-4 award redemptions (including World of Hyatt Credit Card and Hyatt Credit Card anniversary nights, 5 Brand Free Night Awards, etc.) booked before the change will be honored as booked as well. All award redemptions booked at 10:00 am CT on July 30 or after will follow the new Award Chart.
As a reminder, World of Hyatt has launched their latest promotion, where you’ll now earn 500 bonus points at recent hotel openings. As new properties start to open, this page will be updated with those hotels that you’ll be able to earn more points at, so be sure to check back for new openings.
