Last summer, Southwest Airlines Stopped Serving Peanuts Onboard Flights, which the airline received mixed reactions. Southwest explains to provide the best Hospitality and outstanding Customer experience for everyone, including those with peanut-related allergies, we’ll no longer serve peanuts beginning August 1.
For those who are missing the peanuts that Southwest used to serve onboard, they’re now available for sell online on their website. The airline is selling tins of their famous peanuts for $29, which seems like a hefty price for the snacks that once used to be free onboard.
Per Southwest,
Due to popular demand, our peanut tins are currently on back order. We are now accepting pre-orders, and expect delivery within 2-3 weeks. Thank you!
This retro lunchbox is double-sided with Lightly Salted and Honey Roasted peanut pack images. Each box contains one 10z bag of the original honey roasted peanuts and one 10oz bag of the original lightly salted peanuts.
