Points Redemption In Anguilla
The latest Hyatt announcement adds a hotel redemption option on Anguilla with The Reef by CuisinArt at Merrywing Bay overlooking St Martin. This hotel is relatively new to the island having been opened in November of 2016.
This hotel sits on Rendezvous Bay and the old site of the St Regis Temenos Anguilla and Temenos Villas. The property was purchased in 2010 out of receivership by the Cypress Equities Group.
A true story from Mr & Mrs. Weekly Flyer. We were in Anguilla in 2009 minding our own business enjoying a lunch at the Trattoria Tramonto restaurant on the West End Shoal Bay West Beach when we over heard a banker / island manager discussing the deal over the phone. The discussion went something like the old Temenos was going bankrupt, they couldn’t afford the golf course, and at a minimum the Cuisinart should buy the golf course and add it as a benefit to guests. Pretty cool to see 10 years later I can finally redeem points at the SLH boutique hotel near the golf course.

World of Hyatt hotel point redemption at The Reef Anguilla starts at 25,000 World of Hyatt Points. This redemption is for a Golf View Junior Suite. The room has about 700 square feet to stretch out.
Look out onto the golf course from the panoramic windows in this 700-square-foot suite. The space offers a king or twin beds, seating area, and stylish bathroom with a twin vanity and free-standing bathtub

It’s important to note that not all World of Hyatt benefits are offered yet with stays at SLH properties.
