Global Entry Suspended For New York Residents

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is closing the Global Entry program as well as other Trusted Traveler Programs in New York State in response to New York declaring itself as a sanctuary city with the “Green Light Law.”

New York residents will no longer be eligible to enroll or re-enroll in Trusted Traveler Programs based on this.

DHS suspends Global Entry, Trusted Traveler Programs for New York residents in response to sanctuary law

The sweeping order came a day after President Trump, in his State of the Union address, condemned left-wing states and local governments that “release dangerous criminal aliens to prey upon the public,” and called on Congress to pass a law establishing civil liability for sanctuary cities.

In a letter to top New York state officials obtained exclusively by Fox News, Wolf noted that the New York law prohibited state DMVs from sharing criminal records with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

  1. I live in NYC and I applaud this move. I have global entry and appreciate the convenience. My parents yet to have sign up and want to. But it is more important to take a stand against illegal immigration that threatens the genetic fabric of America. The New York Government is looking out for Mexico, not for Americans. I understand with different groups on this piece of land we are in constant conflict. Hopefully New York and a California leave the union or 30 Midwestern and southern states leave. Then everyone can have their own ideal government. But until that happens I am happy a stand is being taken against the New York government which is aiding and abetting illegals.

  2. I’m a NYC resident and it’s about time! DeBlasio and his democrat cronies have run this city into the ground! Awesome news, keep up the great work, Bravo!

  3. @Johnson Rogers (fake name from the xenophoic racist dude)

Genetic fabric of America? New York and California leave the union?
Mmm, why don’t you leave? You won’t be missed….

  4. @JD

If 40 million white people illegally or even legally immigrated to Japan I bet you would call that an assault on the Japanese who are entitled to their own space. If 500 million Chinese immigrated to India I bet you and Indians would complain about that destroying India. Illegal latinos from the southern border or arab or black migrants to Europe do the same very thing. Every group on earth needs its space including white people.

  5. Racists out in force. Every white people here were descendants of illegals back a few hundreds years.

    Generic fabric, my ass.

  6. Stupidity has consequences! Love the possibility of shorter custom lines at JFK for my family and I – who are in the US legally.

  7. I am so happy finally there is someone to teach these left wing politicians a lesson. DeBlasio is the worst mayor ever.
