World of Hyatt members can take advantage of the latest promotion offered for cardholders of their co-branded credit cards. Cardholders will have the opportunity to earn bonus elite qualifying nights toward elite status through spending boosts as outlined below.
Hyatt was one of the first hotel programs to offer World of Hyatt 2020 Status Extension for All Members, where current Discoverist, Explorist and Globalist members would have status extended until February 28, 2022.
However for those looking to earn elite status or earn a higher tier, you’ll now be able to earn some extra night credits through spending. These nights will also count toward World of Hyatt Milestone Rewards.
Here’s a look at both offers for eligible cardholders:
World of Hyatt Credit Cardmember Offer - 3 Qualifying Night Credits: World of Hyatt Credit Cardmembers can now earn a total of 3 qualifying night credits toward the next tier status for every $5,000 spent on their card between April 15, 2020 and June 30, 2020. That’s 1 bonus qualifying night credit in addition to the 2 qualifying night credits Cardmembers already earn (credits may post a different times).
Hyatt Credit Cardmember Offer - 2 Qualifying Night Credits: If you have a Hyatt Credit Card, you can now earn 2 qualifying night credits toward the next tier status for every $5,000 spent on your card between April 15, 2020 and June 30, 2020.
If you have either of these cards, there’s no registration required, as these have been added for all cardholders.
In addition to the two offers for current cardholders, new World of Hyatt Cardmembers will automatically receive a total of 10 tier-qualifying night credits – that includes the five tier-qualifying night credits already received as a new Cardmember, plus five additional tier-qualifying night credits. To be eligible for this offer, new Cardmembers must apply for the World of Hyatt Credit Card by June 30, 2020.
It’s great to see World of Hyatt extend these new offers to members to earn bonus elite qualifying nights, but be sure to do the math first to see if you’re able to hit a higher tier status before you start shifting your spend.
Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below if you plan to earn World of Hyatt elite status as a result of either of these new offers.
