Following, Southwest Airlines Announces Three More Destinations and Southwest Airlines Announces Sarasota, Florida earlier this month, we now hear more details about Southwest routes from both Savannah and Sarasota.
Additionally, Southwest Airlines will be launching daily service between Long Beach and Honolulu starting March 11, 2021 as well as reinstating international service from Orange County/Santa Ana to both Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta daily beginning March 11, 2021.
These additions are a direct result of increased result of leisure flying over business travel, which the airline hopes to capture additional revenue as they enter new markets.

Sarasota/Bradenton service begins February 14, 2021
Southwest is in its 25th year of serving the Sunshine State. Sarasota/Bradenton will be the carrier’s 10th airport in Florida, initially serving Customers across the country through four nonstop routes: Baltimore/Washington, Chicago (Midway), Houston (Hobby), and Nashville, all starting Feb. 14, 2021.
- $89 one-way nonstop between Sarasota/Bradenton and Baltimore/Washington (three times daily)
- $89 one-way nonstop between Sarasota/Bradenton and Chicago (Midway) (two times daily)
- $69 one-way nonstop between Sarasota/Bradenton and Houston (Hobby) (once daily)
- $69 one-way nonstop between Sarasota/Bradenton and Nashville (two times daily)
Savannah/Hilton Head service begins March 11, 2021
Southwest is adding more service in Georgia. Savannah/Hilton Head will link to the carrier’s growing network through five nonstop routes: Baltimore/Washington, Chicago (Midway), Dallas (Love Field), Houston (Hobby), and Nashville, all starting March 11, 2021.
- $49 one-way nonstop between Savannah/Hilton Head and Baltimore/Washington (two times daily)
- $79 one-way nonstop between Savannah/Hilton Head and Chicago (Midway) (once daily)
- $79 one-way nonstop between Savannah/Hilton Head and Dallas (Love Field) (once daily)
- $79 one-way nonstop between Savannah/Hilton Head and Houston (Hobby) (once daily)
- $49 one-way nonstop between Savannah/Hilton Head and Nashville (once daily)
This news comes after Southwest recently announced Plans to Serve Miami and Palm Springs in addition to Montrose (Telluride), all of which come in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic and Southwest looking at ways to capitalize on additional revenue in new markets.
