World of Hyatt has had several promotions in place in addition to World of Hyatt Reducing 2021 Elite Qualifications. The current Bonus Journeys promotion which offers double tier qualifying nights for stays in January/February, as well as an additional night credit in 2021 for stays in the last quarter will start posting the additional tier nights this week.
Previously these nights weren’t going to be posted until a few weeks after the promotion ended on February 28. If you stayed from October-December 2020, you should see your additional nights being posted this week.
Per Hyatt,
Starting this week, we will issue the TQNs to members who stayed/earned by January 4 (original promotion end date) so they receive the night credits early on in their account in 2021.
For members who stay during the extended promotion period of January/ February, we will award TQN’s into their accounts once every two weeks. That way members will achieve elite status and be able to enjoy their increased benefits sooner!
If you haven’t registered yet, Registration has been extended through January 15, 2021, so be sure to take advantage of this promotion which is offering double night credits toward World of Hyatt elite status for all of January and February.
Additionally, World of Hyatt has extended these existing promotions including discounted award stays and free parking:
- Free Nights on Sale – World of Hyatt members can receive 15% of their redeemed points back as Bonus Points, plus free parking, when they redeem points for free night stays, now through February 28, 2021. World of Hyatt and Hyatt Credit Cardmembers can receive an additional 10% of their redeemed points back as Bonus Points. Members can register here by January 15, 2021; Cardmembers can register here.
- Dine Local, Earn Triple Points – World of Hyatt members can continue treating themselves when dining close to home by earning triple points on eligible spend for dine-in, takeout or delivery (when not staying the night) at participating outlets at Hyatt hotels and resorts through February 28, 2021.

From Oct-Dec 2020, I stayed a total of 12 nights. Have the World of Hyatt Visa card (going on 2 years) and stayed 4 additional nights ending yesterday., By my math, I should have a total of 12 + 5 + (2*4) = 25 qualifying nights.
Oddly, my account showed 7 qualifying nights as of this morning and changed sometime today to reflect 9 qualifying nights. Am having difficulty matching up those 7 (or 9) nights against the stays that I logged and the 5 nights from the WOH Visa card.
Any idea when the bonus 5 tier nights from WoH credit card would be posted?
I signed up for the card and the promos in December. I’m hoping to have earned Globalist by mid February for a trip then. If I mattress run 10 nights at a Tier 1 in January (should be worth 20 nights), +10 for the credit card sign up, would that theoretically be possible?
Right now my account is only showing 5 nights (theoretically the 2019 sign up nights).
