We’ve see hotels drastically scale back their offerings due to the pandemic. Everything from restaurant and lounge closures, to no longer offering housekeeping service. However, there’s good news for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members, as it’s now been a week since the company has reinstated its Elite Benefit Guarantees.
The Elite Benefit Guarantees covers several items including the Ultimate Reservation Guarantee, Guaranteed Platinum Elite/Titanium Elite Welcome Gift, Guaranteed Room Type, Guaranteed Lounge Access, and 48-Hour Guaranteed Availability.
The biggest lack in elite benefits has been the Guaranteed Platinum Elite/Titanium Elite Welcome Gift which is includes breakfast at many brands. During the pandemic, many hotels were only offering bonus points to elite members, but now these hotels must offer some sort of breakfast option, otherwise you’ll be able to receive compensation.
