Looking to take an international trip, but worried what might happen if you do test positive for COVID-19 prior to departure back to the U.S.? The popular Bahamas resort Baha Mar wants to ease travelers by reassuring guests if this happens.
If you do happen to test positive while staying at Baha Mar, the resort is offering you two options. You can either be flown back to the United States via private jet, or you can stay complimentary for 14 nights in a suite with a $150 dining credit per day.
This is in response to the new U.S. mandate which took effect last month, requiring all air travelers to present a negative COVID-19 test to return back.
Per Page Six,
Baha Mar — the Bahamas resort where Drake was recently spotted with fellow rappers Meek Mill and Lil Baby — has hatched a luxe plan to quarantine any travelers who come down with coronavirus.
The resort says it will provide courtesy private jet service back to the States, or give guests a complimentary 14-day stay, if they test positive for COVID-19 prior to departure, so they won’t be stranded in the island paradise.
Calling it the “Travel with Confidence†program, the resort would also give any infected guests a daily dining credit of $150 per day, for up to 14 days in quarantine, while they stay in a courtesy suite.

I have a question, and I cannot find the answer online. If I do test positive while I’m there and they Baha Mar flies me back home, I’m still not going to be able to enter the United States until I have a negative test, right.. If I can get back in how does that work.. Everything I’ve read says I cannot get back into the US with a positive test.
Thanks
