The Hotel Vin, Autograph Collection is located in Grapevine, Texas, which is less than 10 minutes from the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. This boutique property features 120 guestrooms and suites.

It’s a Marriott Bonvoy Category 5 property requiring 35,000 points for a standard free night redemption. Off peak redemptions are 30,000 points and peak nights are 40,000 points per night. The hotel is located right across from the Trinity Metro TEXRail stop and is only two stops to DFW, making it a great option if you have an overnight layover.

As a Marriott Titanium member, I was upgraded to an Executive Suite, offered a choice of continental breakfast or 1,000 points, and even given a token for a complimentary glass of wine in the hotel bar.

As a Marriott Titanium, I was given a token for a complimentary glass of wine at the hotel bar. This was in addition to choice of welcome amenity of breakfast or points.

I opted for the breakfast, which was valid for the continental breakfast pictured above.

Hotel Vin is located directly behind the Trinity Metro TEXRail station, and is only two stops from DFW Airport. The train costs $2.50 and you can buy your tickets at the station on the platform. The ride took less than 10 minutes, and I’d highly recommend this option for anyone needing a hotel for an overnight at DFW and looking to stay somewhere outside the airport.

I couldn’t recommend this hotel more, and only wish I had more time to explore the downtown Grapevine area. If you’re looking for a new Marriott property near the DFW airport, be sure to check out the Hotel Vin.
