American Express opened its new Centurion Lounge at New York’s LaGuardia (LGA) last summer and we were able to check out this new club on a recent trip! The lounge is located in Terminal B post-security on the 4th floor past the food court. Terminal B is home to American Airlines, United Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, and Air Canada.
The lounge is open daily from 8am-7pm, it’s unclear if the hours will be extended down the road, as 8am is on the later side considering their are some 6am departures.
Both cardholders of the Platinum Card® from American Express, and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express are able to access the lounge and can bring in two guests with them each time. You can view more about the Amex Global Lounge Collection Overview for Platinum

It’s great to see the new Centurion Lounge at LGA open, and is a great option for travelers departing on Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and Air Canada.
It’s not nearly as expansive as the JFK lounge, and the hours are still quite limited, so here’s to hoping that the hours will be expanded for those early morning departures eventually.
We’ve had the opportunity to stop by a few of the Centurion Lounges including:

Have you had a chance to stop by the new LGA Centurion Lounge yet? Feel free to share your thoughts on this spectacular new club below.Â
The Lounge is larger and more comfortable than the original one in the B terminal. It seemed comfortable and well stocked during my visit in November. However, I’d point out that it is a long walk from the American Airlines check-in points to the Lounge and from the Lounge to the American Airlines gates – at least now when the “bridge” to the concourse is not yet open. Travellers expecting a quick “turn” in the club and a short hop to their gate will be surprised and need to leave plenty of time for the walk.
What sucks is if you are flying Dekta. Hard to use your Amex Reserve card benefit.
