The Revival Baltimore Hotel a member of Hyatt’s joie de vivre brand, will be leaving Hyatt on May 3rd. It’s unclear if this will be operated independently or if will be joining another chain. The property has 107 rooms and is located in Baltimore’s historic Mount Vernon neighborhood.
The Revival Baltimore is currently a World of Hyatt category 3 property with free night awards ranging form 6,500-9,500 points depending on the season.
Per Hyatt, Effective Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. local time, Revival will no longer be affiliated with Hyatt, and World of Hyatt members will not be eligible for program benefits when staying at this hotel. The property is expected to honor all existing reservations made for paid stays. World of Hyatt members with award stays for May 3, 2023 and beyond and guests with questions should call Hyatt’s Global Reservation Center at 1-888-848-9496 for assistance.
Joie de vivre joined World of Hyatt a few years ago as a result of Hyatt acquiring Two Roads Hospitality. We’ve seen other joie de vivre properties leave the brand since the acquisition, so I could see Hyatt potentially ending this brand down the road and rebranding these hotels into either its Unbound Collection or Destination by Hyatt brands.
For those looking to stay with Hyatt in the Baltimore area, other Hyatt options include the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor and the Hyatt Place Baltimore/ Inner Harbor.
