The Langley, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Buckinghamshire is located in the former manor home of the third Duke of Marlborough in the town of Slough. The property is a 45 minutes drive to Central London, and only 15 minutes from London Heathrow. This boutique property features just 41 guestrooms and suites.

In terms of redeeming Marriott Bonvoy points, nightly redemptions seem to range anywhere from 50,000-80,000 points per night.

As a Marriott Titanium member, I was upgraded to a Junior Suite in the Main House, and offered a choice of continental breakfast (valued at 25 pounds) or 1,000 points.

As a Marriott Titanium, I opted for the continental breakfast option, and was given the option to upgrade to a full breakfast for an additional 5 pounds.

The Langley, a Luxury Collection Hotel is only a 15 minutes drive from London Heathrow, which I’d recommend this as an option after arriving into Heathrow for your first night before heading into Central London.

I couldn’t recommend this hotel more, and wish I had longer to explore the town of Slough. Another option to consider nearby is the Moxy Slough for your first night that’s a little cheaper than The Langley.

  1. Literally no-one in the history of England has ever written I ‘wish I had longer to explore the town of Slough’ so congratulations there 🙂

Slough is where the UK version of The Office is set.

I point you to John Betjeman:

Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough!
It isn’t fit for humans now,
There isn’t grass to graze a cow.
    Swarm over, Death!
Come, bombs and blow to smithereens
    Those air -conditioned, bright canteens,
Tinned fruit, tinned meat, tinned milk, tinned beans,
    Tinned minds, tinned breath.

Mess up the mess they call a town-
    A house for ninety-seven down
And once a week a half a crown
    For twenty years.
