Delta plans to launch its first daytime transatlantic flight from New York (JFK) to Paris starting March 31, 2024. Delta doesn’t currently offer any daytime transatlantic flights to Europe so this will be a nice option for those looking for a non red-eye option on Delta.
Delta will be operating this daytime flight using a 767-400 aircraft which features 34 Delta One seats, 20 Premium Select, 28 Comfort +. and 156 Main Cabin seats.
Delta’s new daytime transatlantic flight to Paris is scheduled to leave JFK at 8:30am and arrive into Paris at 10pm. This third flight will complement Delta’s two evening departures to Paris at 7:30pm and 10:30pm.
For context, Delta planned to launch a daytime flight from New York (JFK) to London-Heathrow back in March 2020, however this was pulled and has yet to return. I’d personally love to see Delta bring back this as well in the coming months. If this flight does well, I could see Delta offering a daytime departure to Amsterdam as well.
Currently American Airlines, United, JetBlue, Virgin Atlantic, and British Airways all offer daytime flights over to Europe, so Delta will be joining the rest of the pack. However, unlike the others that offer daytime flights to London, Delta will be switching it up and offering a daytime flight to Paris.
