the lifetime warranty is a most useful feature for a fequent traveler.
1. I had a Samsonite hard-sided bag that I used in the 1990′s
2. I think that the front pocket is the most helpful since it provides easy access to electronics or paper files while being in a protected and secured area.

2. the tilt resistant wheel seems to be the most useful for the frequent traveler since you’re going fast to catch the plane sometimes.

Never had a hard side bag. Lots of great features – maybe the best is wheel technology.
I’ve never used a hard-sided bag. For business trips especially (and even for leisure — we all have tablets!) that outside pocket looks like a well-thought-out feature.
1. Yes, I’ve had a couple of hard-side suitcases in the past.
2. I like the idea that these TORQ bags have the 80/20 top-lid opening like traditional luggage. One of my complaints with other hard-sided luggage is it requires too-much floor space to access both sides.

I’ve been envying a hard-sided spinner for a while! This is by far the best looking hard-shell luggage with a pocket! I love the pocket. Plus, the lifetime warranty isn’t too shabby either. 🙂

I’ve never had a hard-sided travel bag, although I’ve noticed that they’ve become quite popular so I’m curious about how great they are. My favorite feature of the TORQ is the exterior compartment, as the lack of one is a huge reason I haven’t purchased a hard-sided bag before. It will definitely be useful when traveling! 🙂

I haven’t owned a hard side carry on but was looking for a stylish and dude-rific version. The most important feature to me is access to files/tickets/keys,etc. without opening up the whole case. I use one now that has become my constant traveling companion, but as a soft side, is showing its age. I know I am too late for your give-away, but would like to know if the smallest of your Torq front openers would fit under seats and overheads of the smaller regional jets without shoving which leads to scratching??
