Passports with Purpose 2012

We’ve been fortunate to be sponsored for two years in a row by the W Atlanta Downtown. The hotel is great and perfect for a trip to Atlanta, but don’t take it from me, check out fellow Boarding Area travel blogger reviews of the hotel from MJ on Travel where he got his best upgrade ever.

The W Atlanta Downtown has a great location near downtown and is only minutes away from midtown. At the time the W Atlanta downtown hotel was built in 2009, it was the highest price per room, so the quality is top notch. The hotel has 28 stories, 237 hotel rooms, 76 residences, 10,000 square feet of meeting space, a Bliss Spa and a helipad on top of building.

Bottom Line

The Passports with Purpose Travel Blogger initiative is a great way to give back by donating to a good cause. And you could win some very cool and valuable prizes as a result of donating.

The first day was a huge success generating over $10,000 in donations towards the $100,000 goal. But the promotion ends on December 11, 2012, so there is still time to donate for a chance to win your top prize.

What would be your top pick from the list of travel prizes? Is there a strategy here to go after the lesser known prizes or some hidden values?
