  1. What kind of work bag .. and why? Backpack because it’s more comfortable, and I don’t care what it looks like.

  2. Depends on the trip but generally I like to go with a four-wheeled rolling bag and a carryon that varies with my destination, reason for travel and length of trip. I prefer bags that are themselves not heavy, with good wheels and well designed exterior pockets.

  3. What kind of work bag do you travel with (backpack, briefcase, wheeling briefcase, other) and why? Backpack for portability.

What feature do you look for in a business bag?
    Durability. Don’t break on me.

  4. My usual bag is undefinable, best fit would be a briefcase but really it is a well-constructed tote-type bag bought from an artist who makes them, but if I am carrying a lot of paper I go with a wheeled bag. Why, because my usual trip is a shortish flight for one or two days and, as to the other, well, paper is heavy. The number one feature I look for in business (actually all) bags is that the bag is light when empty.

  5. Q: What kind of work bag do you travel with (backpack, briefcase, wheeling briefcase, other) and why?

A: A Samsonite briefcase. It is the perfect size for my laptop and looks professional.

Q: What feature do you look for in a business bag?

A: A Sufficient number of pockets, TSA friendly, great warranty

  6. I use a backpack because it’s easier to carry around, and I like lots of pockets and light weight for my work bag

  7. backpack which can fit my laptop, ipad and the chargers.
Plus some space to put my clothings.

  8. A messenger bag and a small duffel bag – I can pack for as long as I want and carry it all on (even on Lufthansa). I really like the fold out laptop section for zipping through security

  9. What kind of work bag do you travel with (backpack, briefcase, wheeling briefcase, other) and why?

    – A backpack. I don’t carry any documents during work travel. It is just laptop / tablet. I prefer a compact backpack for that. It is very convenient

What feature do you look for in a business bag?
    – Should be Compact & Lightweight

  10. A backpack, because it is the most convenient and best for carrying around… it may not look the best, but carrying around a laptop in a shoulder bag is horrid.

    I look for comfort primarily.

  11. My work bag is a Franklin Covey leather bag. I always look for something sturdy that will hold up with lots of use.

  12. I travel with a backpack since it fits various items, depending on my needs for a particular trip. I look for something lightweight, yet sturdy enough to protect my possessions.

  13. I bring a backpack to hold my laptop and protect it. I look for protection and sturdiness to protect my computer and my stuff. I would like to give this bag a try! Thanks for the opportunity!

  14. My workbag is a pretty large crossbody b/c I still carry a large laptop around with me. I look for a bag that allows easy in/out of larger items plus smaller pockets for easy to lose or tangle items (keys, chargers, etc.)

  15. I use a backpack….but that bag would be a HUGE improvement. I may buy one if I do not win it.

My favorite feature is the pockets for quick TSA clearance

  16. I travel with a laptop backpack so that I don’t put all of the weight on one shoulder with a traditional one-strap bag. I look for protection for my laptop and comfortable straps.

  17. I use a laptop bag.

Having something with lots of organization potential and ease of getting through security are must haves.

  18. I use my daughter’s discarded college backpack, mostly because it was still in good shape. Features I would look for in my ideal work bag would probably be a crossbody with computer protection, and several pockets. Thanks!

  19. I currently use a backpack.

Must have is a laptop compartment that meets the TSA rules for no removal.

  20. I travel with a wheeled briefcase and having organized space with expansion possibilites is important.

  21. I use backpacks, mainly, since I have a long commute on the metro and having two shoulders working for me is better than one. And the best thing about B&R, regardless of the line, is the warranty. Can’t beat it!

  22. Backpack for hands free, for sure.

I look for lightweight, durable, classy, something that will stay clean and not embarrass me and have room for everything I need to carry with me.

  23. What kind of work bag do you travel with (backpack, briefcase, wheeling briefcase, other) and why?

    Large tote–because I’m a girl. 🙂

What feature do you look for in a business bag?
As lightweight and sturdy as possible.

  24. Laptop case that is lightweight, yet shock proof… 🙂 for the days when I get up at 4am to catch an early flight and I still have some parts of my eyes closed…

  25. I use a backpack because its small and convenient. A primary feature I look for in a business bag is easy laptop storage.

  26. I usually use a backpack.

The feature I most look for is SIZE. I have to be able to carry it easily and take it with me on the plane. Bonus points for convenient compartments.

  27. – I travel with a 21 inch, 2 wheel roll-on, because it’s light and easy to maneuver.
    – Durability is what I desire.

  28. I use a briefcase with a strap. I look for durability, flexibility and a well thought out design

  29. I carry a backpack so I can take my laptop plus some food, jackets, etc on the plane. In a work bag, I look for something easy to carry and durable enough to survive being in the overhead bin, under my seat, or going through TSA.

  30. What kind of work bag do you travel with (backpack, briefcase, wheeling briefcase, other) and why?
    Briefcase because it is compact

What feature do you look for in a business bag?
A comfortable shoulder strap and compartments that allow for easy access

  31. I use a backpack; it carries my iPad mini and everything else well.

I look for extra cushion in the bottom.

  32. I prefer a backpack because of the space available and quick access. My business bag needs to have quick access to important stuff.

  33. What kind of work bag do you travel with (backpack, briefcase, wheeling briefcase, other) and why?
Backpack cause it keeps my hands free.

What feature do you look for in a business bag?
many pockets, and that it’s lightweight

  34. I rarely travel for work. For work I JUST updated (er, my wife did) from an old green shoulder hanging bag to a newer “more stylish” bag. For travel, I do use a backpack as a carryon, but I AM looking to replace this with one more built for travel.

I need a back with many compartments AND one that can keep items from shifting around too much.

  35. I carry on a small wheeled bag, about 1/3rd the size of a full size carry on. I always look for something smaller with many compartments.

  36. I travel with a backpack. It ensures I pack light weight.

For a business bag it should have many compartments.

  37. When I’m flying I take a backpack. I can fit more in it than a briefcase and all of my various padfolios fit inside.

The main feature I look for is capacity.
