I prefer backpacks because they are versatile and have an element of portability.
What feature do you look for in a business bag? pockets and compartments for separating things.
I use a large soft-side briefcase.
I want a bag that has plenty of room, especially in big compartments that are versatile enough to hold many different items. Not a fan of bags with so many small dedicated “pockets” that consume all the effective space in the bag.
I currently travel with a briefcase, but I’d much rather have a wheeled briefcase. Hopefully I can win one!
What I look for most is quality construction. You want to be able to feel the quality every time you touch the bag.
I travel with a wheeling briefcase cause that’s all I have right now.
In a business bag I look for alot of room but not alot of pockets.

I currently use a backpack because its easy to slip my laptop out at TSA. The feature I look for in a business bag is either easy of pulling the laptop out for TSA or a TSA compliant bag.
My work bag is a ballistic nylon Victorinox briefcase with shoulder strap. It meets my needs because it has lots of pockets to help organize all my stuff.
Use a backpack for ease of carrying (I tend to carry a lot of stuff in it, which makes for heavy lifting). I look for a bag with plenty of storage space, pockets/partitions, nooks and crannies; if you make the space available, I will use it!
I travel with a shoulder-bag. Looking for laptop protection and ease of sliding under the seat in front of me.
I currently carry a backpack for the large space it provides me, but would love an upgrade to a briefcase for more professional meetings!
I look for expandability with the option to slim down and de-bulk when I’m not carrying two laptops to work.
