  1. What kind of work bag do you travel with (backpack, briefcase, wheeling briefcase, other) and why?

I prefer backpacks because they are versatile and have an element of portability.

What feature do you look for in a business bag? pockets and compartments for separating things.

  2. I use a large soft-side briefcase.

I want a bag that has plenty of room, especially in big compartments that are versatile enough to hold many different items. Not a fan of bags with so many small dedicated “pockets” that consume all the effective space in the bag.

  3. I currently travel with a briefcase, but I’d much rather have a wheeled briefcase. Hopefully I can win one!

What I look for most is quality construction. You want to be able to feel the quality every time you touch the bag.

  4. I travel with a wheeling briefcase cause that’s all I have right now.

In a business bag I look for alot of room but not alot of pockets.

  5. Wow those bags look fantastic! I’m just starting my first travelling job and don’t have a bag yet

  6. I currently use a backpack because its easy to slip my laptop out at TSA. The feature I look for in a business bag is either easy of pulling the laptop out for TSA or a TSA compliant bag.

  7. My work bag is a ballistic nylon Victorinox briefcase with shoulder strap. It meets my needs because it has lots of pockets to help organize all my stuff.

  8. Use a backpack for ease of carrying (I tend to carry a lot of stuff in it, which makes for heavy lifting). I look for a bag with plenty of storage space, pockets/partitions, nooks and crannies; if you make the space available, I will use it!

  9. I travel with a shoulder-bag. Looking for laptop protection and ease of sliding under the seat in front of me.

  10. I currently carry a backpack for the large space it provides me, but would love an upgrade to a briefcase for more professional meetings!

I look for expandability with the option to slim down and de-bulk when I’m not carrying two laptops to work.

  11. What kind of work bag do you travel with (backpack, briefcase, wheeling briefcase, other) and why?

    – Backpack and a large one… I am carrying two laptops (one for work and a personal), work papers, etc

What feature do you look for in a business bag?

Durability and good looks; appropriate for business but practical as well

  12. I prefer a briefcase that can carry my laptop and accessories as well as a few personal items

  13. I prefer a backpack.

The bag needs to be durable and expandable/shrinkable depending on the length of trip and how much stuff I have to carry.

  14. I travel with a backpack style bag – it’s just easier

I look for lots of pockets as I always seem to have a ton of little gadgets and cables

  15. I carry a very nice attaché case. I look for light weight and convenience features (shoulder strap, access).

  16. I travel with a wheeling briefcase because I am lazy and don’t like to carry my laptop and papers. To me, the most important thing is durability as when I travel the bag gets tossed around a lot.

  17. I carry a backpack, although I also have a briefcase for more formal occasions. Durability is the most important thing that I care about.

  18. Always travel with a laptop backpack. Durability and plenty of pockets are key!

  28. I travel with a tumi roller and a backpack.
Important feature is easy acceabilitynto my iPad when going thru TSA.

  29. I travel with a B&R commuter expandable upright – perfect combination of roomy enough for a week, small enough to fit in most overheads.
