Lookie lookie what I found during happy hour!
Yeah, that is a Woodford Reserve on the rocks, but that’s not what I’m talking about. Take a look just below that in the fine print. That’s what I’d like to call my 100,000 Platinum Happy Hour.
What’s better than a Woodford Reserve and another 100,000 Membership Rewards bonus offer for the Business Platinum Card® from American Express OPEN?
I can’t apply for the offer since I’ve signed up for the Business Gold Rewards Card in the last 12 months.
Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have had this product or any other Business Gold or Green Card account within the last 12 months.
But, Mrs. Weekly Flyer can apply. Maybe it is the bourbon talking, but I think it is a no brainer to apply for the offer.
Would you apply for the offer? Have you had any American Express cards in the last 12 months that would prevent you from taking part in this targeted offer if you were to receive one in the mail?

even w/the 100k promotion-at $450/year, and for somebody who does not travel much and has a bunch of cards w/0 foreign transaction fees, why is this something I want?
@Jon
Because with two years of $200 statement credits and global entry reimbursement that’s at least $400 off + GE for 5 years.
that’s a good offer. congrats on being targeted!
Ooh, I want this!! My husband was able to get the last 100k deal and would love to get one too. Fingers crossed.
Knowing how much you like your Woodford…have you done the Bourbon Tour in Kentucky? There are seven distilleries within close proximity. The town of Louisville has a Urban Bourbon Trail. Which is pretty cool looking too.
Hi Tom – Yes, actually I’ve done that trail and Bardstown road. Have a few ties to Kentucky and even a distant family member who owns a Bourbon distillery (sadly not Woodford Reserve, but a pretty good one).
I tell you! Why am I never targeted for this!!!
Bourbon never lies…never!!
