There are a lot of things people know about Delta. The fantastic Woodford Reserve Bourbon served on domestic Delta flights (don’t you dare enhance this 🙂 Delta!) the amazing Delta First class omelets, to the great flight attendants.

It’s hard to beat Delta’s product and service. But yet it still surprises me how many people are surprised by Delta, including myself.
On the whole Delta BusinessElite definitely impressed me. The crew was top notch, catering was great for business class, and the cabin felt fresh.
I even get surprised sometimes, like this recent trip to a lounge where I found a little suite within the SkyClub. It even had a door and just screamed my name for a chance to get some work done in a quiet place.
The suite was spacious and had plenty of space to spread out and get some work done.
The chair was large and comfortable.
A little glass window for some privacy but enough to see if you have a visitor.
Plenty of outlets and cords to plug in or a choice to stay unplugged, your choice.
A personal light in case you need to shed it on a subject.
Plenty of storage to put your bags or work papers while you get some work done in your private suite.
And a lock for god knows what, but there’s a lock on your private suite in a Delta SkyClub for you. How many American Admirals lounges can claim that amenity? Probably not very many.
Bottom Line
Delta offers a nice product, friendly flight attendants, has a great on time performance and sometimes it is surprising to many people, including myself.
When was the last time you were surprised from good service, good product or just something out of the ordinary from Delta or any airline? What were you most surprised about, really?
Which SkyClub is this work cube/suite located? Over the years I’ve been dismayed as Delta has taken work areas/cubes/desks OUT of their SkyClubs. I’m surprised to see this one and I wonder if it is in one of the few SkyClubs that haven’t gotten the “Jetson’s” make over yet…

AGREE..Delta is a first class airline with great service, meals, bourbon, attendants, and a clean, fresh attitude. Left United after racking up 100k per year as their service went downhill FAST!! Now we and my employees fly frequently to Europe,Hawaii and domestic in paid first or Business Elite.Never change unless something drastic happens.
