A fellow Boarding Area blogger posed a question earlier this week if it is better to fly or drive this Holiday season. I think it totally depends on the person, where you are going and the all in cost and convenience of travel mode.
For us, flying made most sense to our first destination, but driving was more convenient over Thanksgiving, so we drove. And it came with ancillary benefits like Vanilla Reloads from gas stations!
Vanilla Reload At Gas Station
This Holiday travel included multiple stops along the highway to fill up with gas and reload with Vanilla Reloads.
There were no fewer than 10 gas stations along our route that carried Vanilla Reloads and would allow purchase with my favorite points earning card.
If you are looking for a gas station that sells Vanilla Reloads near you, simply read my post where I provide hints on the four gas stations where I found Vanilla Reloads.

I’ve spent hours calling stations, looking for clues, getting nowhere. Driving to those close by, they all want cash or no longer sell the card. Very frustrating.
Jira, I also feel your frustration as I am from Chicago and have read for clues, and still have come up clueless, in not only Illinois, but lower Wisconsin, Michigan, and northern Indiana.
