i love being able to use an airline mobile app to book flights, see reservations, and of course view the miles pile up each week. So when an airline updates their app we usually check to see if there are any cool enhancements. This week American Airlines has updated their app with a few changes.
American Airlines App Updates
As you may be aware, American Airlines and US Airways have completed their merger. With that, the integration of the two airlines into one app has begun.
The key American Airlines app updates are focused mainly on the integration of US Airways into the American Airline app. For example, you’ll now be able to log in with your US Airways information, view US Airways reservations and even check the status of your system wife upgrades and mileage upgrade awards.

I love it when an airline makes an app more useful. While these updates aren’t as useful as adding the ability to book awards online, they may still be helpful to some so you can now see both US Airways and American Airlines reservations in one place.
