This Week’s Question:
When traveling, Would You Rather have daily maid service or receive bonus hotel points for declining the service?
When traveling, do you prefer to have daily maid service, or are you willing to forgo the service in exchange for some bonus hotel points. Many Starwood hotels, offer 500 bonus SPG points per night for declining the service. You can always call and ask for more towels even if you take this service.

it depends on how long I will stay, if I stay for one week ,it will be points every other day.
Points. We aren’t that messy and can usually take care of ourselves.
Points. But it’s frustrating having to fight for them when they never post.
Maid service. The points scheme is just another cost-cutting measure designed to deprive hard-working employees of jobs.
Definitely BONUS points–75% of time-do not even need maid service-and can get it, if I need
maid service and that includes changing the sheets and cleaning everything in the room. If I wanted to clean my own room id stay home
Points. The very few SPG properties that offer Green Choice ($5 f/b credit, or, 500 points, per night), only applies to:
*A min two night stay.
*Most cap it to three nights maximum earnings.
