As Delta continues to expand in Boston, the airline has announced their latest Transatlantic route which will be to Rome. The new service will commence next summer on May 21, 2020 and go through September 8, 2020 onboard one of their A330 aircraft.
Per Delta,
Delta is continuing to build on a memorable year in Boston with the announcement of new summer service between Boston and Rome, part of the airline’s 2020 plans for expanded flying from three of the airline’s hubs to 10 popular trans-Atlantic destinations.
The new flights were announced at Logan International Airport as Delta, which recently designated Boston as its newest hub, officially assumed operations at all gates in Logan’s Terminal A, making the airline the terminal’s sole operator for the first time since the facility opened in 2005.
Beginning this winter, all of Delta’s flights connecting Heathrow with Boston and New York will be operated using the carrier’s newly retrofitted Boeing 767-400 aircraft, featuring all four branded seat products including a more private Delta One experience.
