Bottom Line

This is an easy auto pilot way to earn Delta SkyMiles. If you live in the Georgia Natural Gas service area, you have until September 4, 2012 to get in on the latest 5,000 SkyMiles signup promotion. But don’t worry, this isn’t the only time this promotion has come and gone. We shared when it was about to expire on May 4, 2012 last time, so it is reasonable to expect it to return.

  1. Be very careful about this. I did something similar a couple of years ago, and found that the rates they charged me were ridiculously higher than what the power company charged. Got KILLED on by bills – definitely was NOT worth a few miles.

  2. Not worth it. Even ignoring their uncompetitive rates and customer service charge – this company is just an absolute nightmare to deal with. I’m counting down the days until my one year contract expires and I can switch back to Gas South, etc.

  3. I did not do this last year and will not do it this year. It was better when Delta Air Lines partnered with SCANA energy before their partnership with Georgia Natural Gas.

  4. TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT, I SWITCHED TO ACCRUE THE EXTRA MILES AND IT IS NOT WORTH IT. MY RATES LITERALLY DOUBLED!!!
