Leave a comment answering the following questions for your chance to win.
- Have you ever had a hard-sided travel bag?
- What TORQ™ feature do you think is most helpful to the frequent traveler and why?
1) I travel a lot and have used hard and soft sided bags – this new generation bags with almost frictionless wheels are great but quality costs! Once you try them you will never want to go back. Many airlines out of US use size and weight restrictions for carry-ons but if you have a size-compliant bag and the wheels make it spin and move easily then they hardly ever require me to weigh it no matter what the actual weight. Another advantage. 2) Best benefit is the placement of the wheels for stability. Quite frequently I see bags topple over, sometimes with bad results, things balanced on the top: shoulder bags, laptops, phones, duty free bottles all go tumbling with costly consequences.
1. Never had a hard-side bag
2. Best feature without a doubt is the lifetime warranty, given how tough the airlines can be on luggage
I’ve never had a hard-sided bag.
I like the separate lockable front pocket.
Have you ever had a hard-sided travel bag?
I have never had one before.
What TORQ™ feature do you think is most helpful to the frequent traveler and why?
I think the best B&R feature is the warranty.
I had lots of hard sided bags until I began to get shoulder injuries carrying and manhandling them. This TorQ looks just the business as so much lighter.
The popout security gusset on the international carry-on is the feature I’m really looking forward to.
Had one, eventually destroyed by airline/TSA.
I like the front pocket.
– Have you ever had a hard-sided travel bag?
Yes, but never one as chic!
– What TORQ™ feature do you think is most helpful to the frequent traveler and why?
The outer compartment will be very useful…
I have never had a hardside bad.
I like the functionality of the front compartment, super convenient.
I have never had a hard sided bag but maybe it’s time to switch! The front access on these bags are my favorite feature.
I’ve never had a hard sided bag. The 80/20 opening feature is my favorite.
1.) Yes, my wife got me one hard-shelled carryon, although it is not my go-to luggage.
2.) I love the front side compartment for easy access and the warranty
I recently bought hard-sided luggage last year.
I think the best feature of the TORQ bags is the 80/20 opening feature.
Never had a hard side. Like the 80/20 opening.
Picked up a hard side at Goodwill for a transAtlantic sailboat delivery. Tossed ir when I arrived at the dock. The 80/20 opening feature looks like a keeper
I’ve never owned one.
I like the 80/20 opening, very neat feature that I think would be very handy when traveling.
never owned one
and the non-tilting wheel is also a good feature.
Have you ever had a hard-sided travel bag? Nope.
What TORQ™ feature do you think is most helpful to the frequent traveler and why? The design (exceptionally wide, tilt-resistant wheel base and proprietary recessed spinner wheels), because nothing is more important to a frequent traveler than gliding through airports during tight connections and saving precious time.
1.) never owned one.
2.) The 80/20 seems most useful to me!

2) the locking control panel sounds cool
Never had a hardside bag.
The warrenty is rocking – although the front side pocket looks great too.
1. No/never.
2. The lifetime warranty, because a frequent flyer is obviously familiar with how easy bags can get damaged — and this warranty helps to defray the cost of repair.
I have used hard-sided travel bags for many years.
In my opinion, the TORQ™ feature that is most helpful to the frequent traveler is the unconditional lifetime warranty — because the more frequently you travel, the more likely it is that your luggage will be damaged.
1. I’ve never had a hard-sided travel bag.
2. I love the feature …..”Backed by the Briggs & Riley unbeatable warranty – TORQ™ is the world’s only hardside collection to be protected by an unconditional lifetime warranty.” Can’t beat that!!

its a briggs
Never had a hardside suitcase and would only get one with a lifetime warranty. I would be nervous it would crack and break with constant manhandling at the airport.
Yes, I do have a Samsonite spinner.
I really like the easy-access compartment on the front! It’s the major drawback of all had-shell luggage, and Torq seems to have really addressed that!
No, I’ve never had a hard shell.
Love the flat-pack packing surface!
I’ve never had a hard shell, but have always wanted one.
Lifetime warranty!
I’ve never had a hardshell before, but I would expect the warranty to more than guarantee a great experience. Plus the multiple wheel options comes in handy…that’s how I roll.
1. No, I’ve never had a hard-sided bag.
2. Easy access compartment sounds great.
Never had a hard side bag. Lots of great features – maybe the best is top warranty.

No, I have never had a hardshell before and the lifetime warranty is the best feature.
I’ve never owned hard-sided bag before. I think the Makrolon material is a neat feature. The bag’s durability ensures that you’ll have it for a while
I had a hardside bag a long time ago. It was nice, but broke (cracked) easily
1. I had a Samsonite hard-sided bag that I used in the 90′s
2. I like the front pocket since can provide easy access to electronics or paper files while being in a protected and secured area.
I haven’t traveled with a hard side bag yet, but the side mounted handle sure would make for more packing space inside. Thanks for the contest!
Have you ever had a hard-sided travel bag?
No because I like to have quick access pockets that they usually don’t have.
What TORQ™ feature do you think is most helpful to the frequent traveler and why?
The fact that there is a quick access pocket!
Never had a hard shell bag. The front side compartment is great for easy access to items
I’ve never had a hard shell bag. The front pocket is really handy for putting those things in that you want to access easily without showing everybody at the airport your underwear.
Have you ever had a hard-sided travel bag?
IN MY DREAMS!!
What TORQ™ feature do you think is most helpful to the frequent traveler and why? THE WHEELS!!
I LOVE NOT GETTING STUCK IN THE AISLE OF A PLANE TRYING TO GET TO MY SEAT…THAT’s WHY I NEED FIRST CLASS TICKETS TOO…
– As a kid, I can remember having to sit on my parents’ old style hard shell suitcase to get it to close. Though no, as an adult I have never owned anything but soft-sided luggage.
– The lifetime warranty has to be one of the most helpful features. That makes a bag like this a lifetime bag for a frequent traveler.
Hard shells look difficult. Would like to try one. The front pocket looks helpful.
I’ve never used a hard sided bag, but think the most useful feature is the lifetime warranty- I took a 15 year old bag back to B&R last year, and they completely rebuilt it for free
I love hard sided bags, and think the most useful feature of this bag is the 4 wheel spinner- once you go to 4 wheels, you can never go back!
I do not have a hard sided bag, and think the most useful feature of this bag is the laptop carrier.
