I have never had a hard side. That front compartment looks really great.
No, I have never used a hard shell and I think the best feature for me would be the pocket to hold ones tablet. Quick and easy to get ahold of when going thru security!
This would be my first hard-sided bag. Also my first four wheeled bag — should make for an easier last dash to my gate!
Never owned one before and the secret middle layer seems cool!
I have not had hard sided luggage.
I personally like the lockable frontside compartment. WIth all my traveling that would certainly be beneficial having the peace of mind that my important travel docs are secure.
Yes, we have both carry-on and checked sized hardsiders, had to purchase for weight restrictions on European flights.
Most valuable feature – the front compartment on these B & R models – something I REALLY miss on my hardsiders.
I have never had a hard sided luggage.
Most valuable feature is the unconditional lifetime warranty.
1) I’ve never had a hard-sided bag. The weight has been a turn-off on models I can afford.
2) I like the maximum space in the interior so you can still have a small bag but fit your things in.
I’ve never had a hard-sided bag.
Not close to unique to TORQ, but spinner wheels are a great feature.

The ability to not carry a laptop bag would be great.
I have not had a hard sided back since the 80’s. I would love to try one of the new style.
The best feature is the locking front compartment for my Mac Air.
I’ve never had a hard sided bag, but would love one.
For me, it’s all about the lifetime warranty!
Thanks
Never had a hard side and the front compartment looks like the best feature
Can’t go without international without a hard sided bag. I love the 80-20 opening, that would make access so much easier!
I have never had a hard-sided travel bag. I wish I had for my last trip to Alaska where they destroyed my fabric suitcase entirely…For the answer to question 2: Briggs & Riley Control Panel is definitely a must.
1. Never had a hard side travel bag.
2. 80/20 is prob the best feature!
never owned a hard cover piece of luggage before. durability and value are what appeals to me.

I have never had a hard-sided travel bag, but having a TORQ would do wonders for my levels of anxiety when I have to check my bag to bring back fresh maple syrup on business trips to Canada.
1. I had a Samsonite hard-sided bag that I used in the 90′s
2. I think that the front pocket is the most helpful since it provides easy access to electronics or paper files while being in a protected and secured area.
I’ve never had a hard-sided bag.
I like the 80/20 feature.
Yes I have had hard case luggage. Favorite feature of the Torq is the spinner wheels, which are great when I am wheeling more than one piece of family luggage!
1) Never used a hard case before
2) Durability and the neon colors are the best features.
I’ve never had a hard sided bag, but I have had 1 other soft sided briggs and riley bag.
My favorite feature of Briggs and Riley bags is their zipper system/quality. I’ve had bags in the past where the zipper comes off the lining or the cheap stitching on the zipper line begins to detach and fall apart and it really ruins the bag! I never had this problem with my previous B&R bag.
I have never used a hard-sided bag, but I think the flexible secrect middle layer would be very helpful in protecting fragile items I bring back with me.
Have you ever had a hard-sided travel bag?
No but it was on my bucket list if things to buy when I saw one in a retail shop in Europe.
What TORQ™ feature do you think is most helpful to the frequent traveler and why?
Organized protection. Hard shell that multiple function with great organization and dividers. Just a bit more than the typical hard shell. You can easily obtain work files and travel documents. Has dual layered protection of all valuables. I am in love.
Had a couple of hard-sided bags in the past – great for standing up to the rigors of international travel and multiple connections.
I think the inbuilt locking mechanism is great for frequent travelers – allows security while still meeting TSA requirements, and no separate lock or keys to misplace!
I have never had a hard sided bag but I will say the warranty on this one makes it very tempting!
I’ve never had a hard-sided bag, but have always wanted one.
Love the flat packing surface!
I’ve never had a hard-sided back.
Definetly like that front pocket!
I have had hard sides in the past and they all cracked. The “secret middle layer” to keep it from cracking would be the best feature.
I have never had a hard sided bag. The lockable hardside front compartment function would be my favorite.
I have been considering a hard sided case for some time, but have not purchased one yet. I especially like the no hassle warranty the Briggs & Riley offers. There are other great features too.

1)Yes.
2)I like the 80/20 top lid opening style. Great way to organize your stuff.
I have never yet used a hard sided bag. I have wanted to but untill last week my old soft luggage was holding up. Now that I am in the market for a new bag since I needed Duct tape to get home I will have to look at these.
So my favorite feature I would say is the hard bounce back material its made from. Then my bag would not get a hole ripped in it.
I have a large polycarbonate hardside, but I don’t like how easily it was dented (and stayed that way).
I like the 80/20 lid design. I think that makes packing easier.
1. I have never had a hard sided bag.

I’ve never owned hard-sided luggage, and the reason is that I am afraid they’ll break or get battered more easily than soft bags. So the best feature about the TORQ bags is the unconditional lifetime warranty!
I have had one and it was OK. The spinner wheels are by far the best
