Earlier today we shared the news about the Hilton Status Match and now we’ve received a Hilton Status Match Response about the promotion. The offer is still live so hurry up and follow the status match directions (here) if you haven’t already done so.

Hilton Status Match Response

Today I applied for the Hilton Status Match and I’ve already received a response. Below is the message I received from Hilton:

We’re on it! But we may need some more information from you… 

We’re excited to honor your status and offer our elite benefits to even more members like you. If you have not already done so, please reply to this email with the following information: 

  1. Your Hilton HHonors account number. If you’re not yet a member, you’ll need to sign up first.
  2. Proof of status with another hotel loyalty program. This can be a screenshot of your current account status or your membership card. We accept jpg files, word documents & PDFs.

Please do NOT send us any personal information (including your phone number, address, social security number, date of birth, user name, passwords, or credit card information).

Once your Hilton HHonors elite status has been honored, you’ll have it through March 31, 2017. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., please allow up to 5 business days for your information to be processed.

Bottom Line

Hilton status match is still live. They are starting to respond to requests for status match, so I would treat this with urgency because you never know how long this will last.

If looking for Hilton points, consider the Hilton Honors Card from American Express card.

  1. That’s automated response. I sent in request with all the proof and i keep getting the same nonsense replies . I tried sending 5 times in 2 days and response still says send them the info.
    Hilton doesn’t seem to be interested in status match!

  2. @Jim so do you just ignore the fine print where it says “Due to the Thanksgiving holiday please allow up to 5 business days for your information to be processed”? But I mean, submitting your information 5 times in 2 days doesn’t make it any less confusing as they sort through their e-mails upon return or slow down the overall process for everyone at all…

  4. I sent a request to Hyatt using my email address, asking to match my Wife. Hyatt’s response was to match me to Diamond w/ my Wife’s credentials. I sent a request to Hyatt using my Wife’s email address and they matched her to Diamond. I followed up w/ a request to Hilton w/ our new Hyatt Diamond for both my Wife and myself. Hilton matched us both to Diamond status today. We have an 8 night stay @ Hilton, Aruba over President’s week, 2016 so having Diamond will save us bigtime on food and maybe get an upgrade. It has been an awesome week for this awesome hobby.
