One of my favorite travel perks is having access to the American Express Centurion Lounges which are operated by American Express. Most recently, we had the chance to review the American Express Centurion Lounge Hong Kong here.
Access to The Centurion Lounge is complimentary for global Platinum Card® and Centurion®Members. Both cardholders of the Platinum Card® from American Express, and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express are able to access the lounge and can bring in two guests with them each time. See more American Express Platinum Benefits Overview here.
2 American Express Centurion Lounges To Close, Only Temporarily
Starting on Monday, January 14th, both the Las Vegas and Miami lounges will be closed temporarily for renovation and expansion.
Beginning January 14th, 2019, The Las Vegas Centurion Lounge will be temporarily closed for a short period as we renovate and improve the space.
Beginning January 14th, 2019, The Centurion Lounge at Miami International Airport will be temporarily closed for a short period as we work to upgrade and expand the space. Please visit one of our partner lounges including Delta Sky Club® when flying Delta, or a Priority Pass™ Select lounge once enrolled.
Traveling can be a lot more fun if you have a fantastic lounge to hang out in with free food and beverage. I think that the Centurion Lounges are amazing and they keep adding more! If you want to gain access to them this year, consider picking up the Platinum Card® from American Express, or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express.
You will not have these 2 options though for the next short period as they renovate and expand the lounges! We can’t wait to see the improvements when they are finished!
