Yesterday I tweeted this picture of the latest 100,000 credit card offer. It didn’t look like the others I’ve received in the past, so I was excited to open it up and take a look inside. Any 100,000 point bonus offer is a good one, but I had my hopes high for something unique about this targeted offer.Â
After opening it up, the card offer materials definitely looked different. Everything was blue vs the grey offer materials in the past. The offer itself ended up not being surprising. Its almost hard to say that a 100,000 offer isn’t surprising, but following a few simply steps to increase chances of targeted offers, somehow offers continue to show up.

Bottom Line
Mrs. Weekly Flyer and I have had several American Express Platinum cards in the past. It is possible to get both the personal and multiple business cards.I actually just picked one up and am working on the second part of the 150,000 bonus offer that card provided. Even thought this is an amazing 100,000 bonus point offer, I’ll probably skip this offer for now.

I see they are offering 40k points after $5k spend on the Amex website. I believe that is an improved offer from 25k of earler this week. The $5k spend in 3 months might be more palatable for some. The Plat card has lost its luster in recent times, though the Centurian Lounge in SFO is of interest to me.
So I’ve got some big spend at lowes/HD coming up in about a week/10 days. What are the chances of me being approved and getting the card in time?
Hi Aarash – Can’t say about the approval, but I do know they can put an overnight rush delivery on the card once you are approved. Have done that a few times.
Thanks! Is there a way to find out if I qualify for the targeted offer, or is it just a mailer? If that’s not an option, what do you think the best AMEX offer is right now?
Haven’t seen a targeted offer in years. But I do have 6 Amex including a biz Plat already so I presume I don’t meet their criteria.
Eh, my employer gets this offer regularly and my sisters get the personal card offer monthly, 100K/$3K, nothing too special, imo.
a blogger on the Boarding Area blogs about the Amex Plat Personal card with 25k bonus plus no annul fee, including additional users. my question is, can you have the business and personal Amex Plat at the same time or in this case, apply these two offers at the same time of which I got the 100k offer like yours. ? thanks
