Delta’s Choice Benefit allows Delta Platinum members and Delta Diamond members to select gifts each year from a designated list. These gifts range from bonus miles, regional upgrades, Global Entry Application fee credits, Sky Club passes, travel / retail gift cards and even allows members to gift friends and family status (Platinum gifts Silver and Diamond gifts Gold).
Gift Delta Silver Status
Since we don’t need bonus miles and couldn’t find anything on the retail gift cards that made since, we thought about gifting the Silver Status to a lucky reader at Points Miles & Martinis. We haven’t decided or not, but wanted to ask our readers. If we ran a contest to gift Delta Silver Status, would you enter?

Nope. Silver is virtually worthless on Delta now.
from the list of medallion benefits above, personally I would prefer the 20k miles. Well it might be not significant for Platinum members like you, but considering the ‘cash value’ of those miles, I think it’s slightly better than the others. At least those miles can be used for economy domestic ticket. or another option is the upgrade cert.
By the way, delta silver status sounds good for me. my United silver will be expired in couple of weeks and too bad I didn’t re-qualify, since I did not have any long haul trip last year.

Yes, just lost my Silver status, so that would be great if I was fortunate enough to be lucky. Otherwise, if I had to choose an amenity and didn’t run a blog I would definitely go for the 20K bonus miles.
